Dungeon Loadout
Full-screen mode recommended
Dungeon Loadout is a quick tactical card game inspired by two games I greatly admire: Card Crawl and Scoundrel.
I loved the simple idea of turning a dungeon adventure into a compact card game, and Dungeon Loadout began as my attempt to build on that idea with the kinds of decisions and systems I personally wanted to explore.
Each dungeon can be completed in just a few minutes. You will manage weapons, items, abilities, and other limited resources while deciding what to use now and what to preserve for the battles ahead.
The game is designed to keep your attention on strategy rather than bookkeeping. Information about the remaining deck, cards already used, and changes in probabilities is made available to the player, helping you make informed decisions without having to memorize everything yourself.
A player’s card deck is built from combinations of equipment sets consisting of multiple cards. Since each set has its own strengths and weaknesses, these combinations will be a crucial resource that determines the success or failure of your adventures.
As you progress through the game, various monsters, cards, abilities, and dungeon conditions will present new tactical challenges, while your long-term growth will expand your options for future expeditions.
About this demo
Dungeon Loadout is currently in development, and a full commercial version is planned.
This demo is intended both as a playable introduction to the game and as a way to gather feedback during development. Balance, interface elements, content, and other features may change before release.
Please note that save data from this demo will not carry over to the full version.
Feedback on bugs, controls, difficulty, balance, and anything that was unclear during play is very welcome.
